CFB 25 Dynasty
I am absolutely obsessed with ncaa college football 25. I’ve played non stop since I got my ps5 back in October. It says I’ve put in 200 hrs but I feel like I’ve done more.
But one of my favorite things about CFB 25 is the dynasty mode. I love nerding out looking out and recruiting talent across the virtual country so that I can find a diamond in the rough that can take my small time school to national recognition.
When I’m not playing these games from time to time I like to watch youtubers do Simulation series on these games. Its just fun because while you are playing or watching the story lines that can come up from simming and playing multiple years.
I remember so many high school summers in between football practice and running around town with my friends I just remember being in the house playing this game for hours. There are so many gems that I’ve found from Cam Newton like QB’s to the most dominant pass rushers I’ve ever seen. And all of those memories are just that….memories. So instead of playing and enjoying the time which is quite alright to do. I want to try and preserve my time with these games and see how these new stories come about. So I am going to start recording and uploading games to youtube and then posting them here. Definitely not to become the next big content creator. But I’d like for my own personal satisfaction to track some of these games and record stats and have the ability to go down memory lane.
So in my current dynasty I have taken control of 4 teams. I’m in year 2 because this brilliant idea came to me just now as I’m sitting here bored at work. My main protagonist, Coach Gemini first started out as an offensive coordinator at Jacksonville St. The team was difficult but there was a small bright spot. The backup senior QB could have been a heisman finalist if I had time with him. How nobody realized the potential is insane. He lead us to a 7 game win streak and helped Coach Gemini land a job at Colorado St as a head coach with a lot of suprising and young talent.
After my backup QB Tyler Logan graduated he earned the offensive coordinator job that was now vacant because of coach Gemini’s departure. Coach made sure to give a good recommendation on his way out to help Tyler land his first coordinator job.
Up north I had another coach that I created that was made after one of my good friends lets call him Coach Cap. He was a defensive coordinator at eastern michigan. His season did not go as well as coach gemini but he coached an impressive defensive and coached the Defensive player of the year who came out of nowhere DE Justin Jefferson. While the offensive side of the ball was awful and resulted in the team’s 2 win record which resulted in the offensive coordinator and head coach being fired. Coach Cap’s job was safe but instead of waiting to see what happens with the new coaching staff he was offered a coordinator job at Tulsa which was a step up from current job. And doing the same as Coach Gemini after Justin Jefferson graduated he was first in line to become the next defensive coordinator for Eastern Michigan. Now that is all the coaches I will follow for now. As time goes on maybe I’ll want to expand that but for now lets focus on these 4 until they all have head coaching jobs.
I am 2 weeks in and currently Colorado St. is 2-0, Tulsa is 2-0, Jacksonville St. and Eastern Michigan didn’t have the best starts but they have bounced back to 1-1 both. All teams are also finding out the emerging stars of this year for the team. There have been break out performances but I will go more in-depth as the games progress. So we are at week 3 and Colorado St. has a bye week. So the next post here I will post video of the next game along with stats and write up.
